Meet Up in Tucson

September 4, 2008

6:30pm - 8pm

Wood Memorial Public Library, Large Meeting Room

3455 N 1st Ave

Tucson, AZ 85719

Come join Defenders of Wildlife members and other friends as we get together to look at how you can help protect and restore our threatened and endangered wildlife. The oil companies want to drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This will destroy key habitat in a one-of-a-kind wildlife refuge. Even though we have faster, better and cheaper ways to reduce gas prices, they want to imperil our nations coastlines with toxic oil rigs. Together we can stop them! Come and learn how!

We will also be looking at a visionary new Defenders campaign that will help wildlife for decades to come: Your Lands, Your Wildlife. Come and be a part of this.

This meeting is free and open to the public. Bring family and friends. I will have a gift for everyone, and special gifts for everyone who car pools with three or more to a car. (Car pool for polar bears!) I hope to see you soon.
