Adam Kron

Adam is a staff attorney with Defenders of Wildlife in Washington, D.C. His work involves litigating cases to protect wildlife and habitat, with particular focus on climate change, the National Wildlife Refuge System, water quality, and freshwater species conservation.
Prior to joining Defenders, Adam worked as an attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where he focused on issues throughout Georgia and Alabama, including municipal and construction stormwater permitting, water use and quality impacts of coal-fired power plants, and surface coal mining.
Adam earned a B.A. in biology with distinction from the University of Virginia. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as managing editor of the Harvard Environmental Law Review and was a 2006 recipient of the Skirnick Public Interest Fellowship. He is the author of several articles on water use, quality, and permitting.
